Meek’s Cutoff is a movie that is based on the Oregon Trail. The story is about a frontier guide named Stephen Meek who leads a wagon trail across the desert along a “short cut” route that turns out to be a dead end. The route later is named Meek’s Cutoff. I took this photograph of a bonet to portray this struggle.
